Today & yesterday’s topic (because I ALREADY forgot to do yesterday): the song “A Dream Is A Wish Your Heart Makes”.
I’m currently listening to this song and it is so sweet. I love how it feels like I’m living in a Disney movie when I play this song and do things around the house. Plus, the lyrics are inspirational!
On a deeper note, I’m happy to say that even though I SHOULD be making this huge fuss about what I’m going to do after college, after praying for a while, God has finally granted me peace with the uncertainty about my future career. Who knows what I will like/dislike in a few years? Who knows where I will be? Or my financial standings, my health, or even my desire for school? All I know is that right now, I’m majoring in English and exploring everything I can possibly explore about English, literature, and the careers that come from it. I’ve learned so much more with an open mind in college than I have when I thought I had it all figured out. I’m more excited about school these days.. more excited about the future even though I don’t know what I want. I think that this song kind of touches on the “dreams” of mine that my heart want. I can still dream them and go after them, because each day, my heart will either reaffirm it or lead me elsewhere. And by heart, I mean my heart that I put in GOD’S hands.
